Diboll’s Taylor Allen wins Superlative of Show for the creation of his waterwheel at the Junior Arts/ Craft competition of the 2011 Angelina County Adolescents Fair.
Roy C. Smith Sr., formerly of Diboll is nominated to be in the 2011 Lockheed-Martin reporting of “Who’s Who for African Heritage Month.”
Diboll ISD officials use village hall meeting to update citizens on the new school and to also requisition input on what to do with the buildings that will be vacated once the school is completed.
Authors Tracie Peterson and Cathy Hake are hosted to paperback signing/ reception at the T.L.L Temple Memorial Library. Peterson signed several copies of her latest words, “Hearts Aglow” as did Hake with her latest new, “Serendipity.” The project was co-sponsored by The Intelligence Center and the T.L.L. Temple Memorial Library.
